History of NCTTP Symposium: Since March 2009, the NCTTP has hosted its yearly meeting and annual symposium in Washington D.C. José Quiroga and Abdallah Boumediene volunteered to be the initial organizers, and Dr. Quiroga has continued in that role since then.

 

Who should attend? This symposium is directed to physicians, psychologists, social workers, physical therapists, journalists, human rights advocates, political scientists, and lawyers in disciplines such as medicine, psychology, social work, case management, epidemiology, human rights, and justice and reparation.​

Where can I submit a research proposal for next year's Symposium? We will post a link to the Call for Papers on this page in summer 2026 and send a blast to all member centers.
